Rogue Traders Awareness

Police have responded to an incident this week where an elderly resident has agreed to have improvements done to his property by a tradesman. During the works being completed, the agreed price of the work has increased which the resident was unaware of until receiving the bill.

Please take care when finding a tradesman to complete work for you, and always look for reviews from previous customers.

Consider consulting family/friends prior to agreeing to the work being done and always agree a price before the work starts.

Following this incident, police have attended nearby properties to raise their awareness of rogue traders.
